POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking a hands-on Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations to help lead daily operations, improve processes, maintain inventory accuracy, and develop a strong warehouse team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Help lead daily warehouse operations and ensure performance and customer service goals are met.
• Identify workflow, system, and execution issues and implement practical improvements.
• Coach, train, and develop team members while promoting accountability.
• Serve as an escalation point for day-to-day operational challenges.
• Partner with the Warehouse Manager on process improvements and operational strategy.
• Monitor performance metrics including efficiency, accuracy, and inventory integrity .
• Review operational data, identify trends, and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop action plans to improve department performance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and help protect company assets.
• Build strong product knowledge across 100+ brands and product lines.
• Create and improve employee training resources and processes.
• Communicate expectations clearly and provide consistent performance feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments to keep operations running smoothly.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 3+ years of warehouse, fulfillment, operations, or similar experience.
• Experience improving processes and operational performance.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization, planning, and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and follow through.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable coaching employees and holding team members accountable .
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
