Associate Director, Regulatory Affairs - Power Platform Solutions Specialist

Merck

Associate Director role supporting a Microsoft Power Platform-based regulatory requirements management system within Global Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Safety. Responsibilities include application configuration, data engineering, workflow automation, environment management, defect resolution, and production support for a Dataverse-based platform.

Responsibilities

Implement Power Apps interface changes and configure Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, and security roles
Build and optimize Power Automate workflows, notifications, and automation aligned with approved designs
Manage solution deployment across Development, Test, and Production environments with verification and rollback capability
Develop and execute data migration scripts, perform quality checks, and support data remediation during releases
Diagnose and resolve technical issues across Power Platform components and provide thorough testing and documentation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)
Experience with application lifecycle management, solution deployment, and environment management
Strong data engineering and SQL scripting skills for migration and data remediation
Technical troubleshooting across cloud platforms, integrations, and permission management
Experience with software development lifecycle practices and regulatory or GxP compliance documentation
