Job Description

• Perform in-depth patient evaluations through physical examinations and thorough medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by accurately interpreting imaging results and laboratory findings
• Work hand in hand with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical plans
• Provide crucial intraoperative help, ensuring readiness of operating rooms and patient positioning, and expertly passing surgical tools during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wounds, coordinating discharge plans, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgery

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Possession of state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
