SENIOR ASSOCIATE, SOCIAL MEDIA

We are looking for a Sr. Associate, Social Media who knows how to make content that earns attention—and then does it, consistently. This person will own the content calendar, create and publish across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X, track resonating content, and keep the team's output moving at the speed of culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the monthly content calendar, integrating campaign priorities while maintaining space for reactive and cultural content. Create and publish content across channels—produce in‑app content independently when the moment calls for it, brief the creative team for produced content, and amplify creator and ambassador content as part of the mix. Bring a strong editorial sensibility to everything published—every post should feel intentional and on voice. Own and manage social listening tools (Pinpoint, Sprout Social, or equivalent)—monitor brand sentiment, competitor activity, and cultural signals relevant to our consumer. Surface weekly insights from listening data to inform content decisions and flag cultural moment opportunities. Track and report on channel‑level performance metrics with a consistent cadence. Own proactive community engagement across all organic channels—showing up in the comments, in conversations, and in the moments where our consumer is already talking. Manage Pinpoint for reactive community management, ensuring consumer inquiries and brand interactions are handled with speed and on‑voice consistency. Represent the EMJ brand with warmth and authenticity in every interaction. Manage day‑to‑day publishing and scheduling across all organic channels. Stay current on platform updates, algorithm shifts, and new content formats—bring recommendations to the team proactively.

You are a maker first. You have genuine satisfaction from building a content calendar, executing it, and watching it perform. You understand what is resonating on the platform right now and act on it. You are organized enough to keep the calendar on track and creative enough to know when to go off‑script for the right cultural moment. You are genuinely passionate about social and content creation, constantly in the app, tracking trends, and bringing that knowledge into the work before anyone has to ask. You know our consumer and the worlds he lives in, and that fluency shows up naturally in everything you make—visually and in every caption, comment, and piece of copy across every platform. You write in his voice, with the right tone, every time.

CAPABILITIES & SKILLS PROVIDED

3‑5 years of social media experience at a consumer brand, with a demonstrated track record of making content that performs. Deeply and consistently immersed in social—knowledge of the latest trends, apps, formats, and platform functionality, with proactive application. Experience creating content for a millennial male consumer, with a genuine understanding of his world, interests, and what earns his attention. Comfortable producing in‑app content independently when the moment calls for it, and equally comfortable briefing a creative team or amplifying creator and ambassador content as part of the channel mix. Experience using social listening and community management tools (Sprout, Pinpoint, or equivalent). Strong organizational skills and a consistent publishing cadence—no missed deadlines or calendar slippage. Comfortable in a fast‑moving environment where priorities shift and speed matters. Familiarity with the world our consumer lives in: men’s personal care, sport, outdoor, fitness, wellness.
