Night Shift Registered Nurse - LTAC MS/Tele

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 Hour Night Shift (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in LTAC, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry. The candidate will be required to float based on unit needs, providing coverage on weekends every other week, though this may vary. This position will primarily utilize the Omnicell medication system and requires candidates to demonstrate strong nursing skills in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols.
• Float to different nursing units as required based on patient census and staffing needs.
• Monitor patient vitals and assess patient needs while managing complex medical conditions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in LTAC, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry.
• Current South Carolina nursing license.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• At least 1 year of experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
