Details Work in a Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 11:00 PM to 11:30 AM Shift start time may occasionally flex up to four hours earlier or later based on urgent staffing needs Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations; must be able to work all 7 days of the week EPIC EMR experience preferred Requirements Active MA RN license in hand required Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Preferred certifications: NIHSS, TNCC Minimum 18 months of experience required; 2 years preferred Level I Trauma Center experience required Must be able to read telemetry Skills in respiratory care, ventilated patient care, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation/management required Triage skills preferred Experience in Psych/Behavioral Health ED a plus Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher Additional Information Provide emergency nursing care within a Level I Trauma Center setting Must pass a pass/fail medication exam and a pass/fail telemetry exam during orientation, each with only one attempt; failure results in immediate contract cancellation Study materials provided during the compliance process and FDIs to help prepare for required testing Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed during the first week of the assignment Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate within a 75-mile radius Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system First-time travelers are not preferred for this position American Traveler Job ID P-764113.
