HWL Requisition: View phone number on click.appcast.io - RN Special Procedures Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Rotating shifts from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with varying schedules across four 9-hour shifts. Call shifts include 3 weekday call shifts and 1 weekend call shift per month. Job Description The RN in Special Procedures will provide high-quality procedural care within the specialty area, ensuring patient safety and comfort during various procedures. The role also includes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to protocols and guidelines. Responsibilities Prepare patients for procedures and provide education regarding the process. Administer medications and monitor vital signs throughout the procedure. Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. Required Experience, Certifications, and Licensure Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty required. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is mandatory. Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also necessary.
