Job Description
Seeking a Senior Tax Manager with strong public accounting background, client-facing experience, leadership capabilities, and expertise managing multiple tax engagements and client relationships.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards
Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and internal resources
Build and maintain direct client relationships
Review tax returns and workpapers
Conduct tax research projects
Communicate project status, opportunities, and issues with clients and internal teams
Train, mentor, and oversee junior staff
Maintain technical expertise in relevant tax areas and industries
Manage book of business, budgets, and production goals
Support consulting and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
BSBA in Accounting
CPA certification required
10+ years of public accounting experience
Strong client management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
Detail-oriented and organized
Experience with QuickBooks, ProSystem fx Tax, MS Word, and Excel
