Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on enhancing communication abilities, language fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to design integrated care approaches.
Provide educational resources for both patients and families, empowering them to support their loved one's progress beyond therapy sessions.
Perform occasional inpatient evaluations and treatments, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout each patient's recovery process.
Maintain precise and timely documentation conforming to state, federal, and facility regulations.
Engage in ongoing professional development by staying updated on the latest advancements in your field through continuing education and peer learning activities.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days post-hire.
Expertise in evidence-based practices suited for patients of all ages, with a strong grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing impairments.
Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
