Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)The Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role demands strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Shift InformationSchedule: 3x12 Night Shifts (18:00 - 06:30)Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 3 weekends within a 6-week period.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care to patients in a medical/surgical setting.Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Complete necessary documentation in Meditech.Participate in unit activities and contribute to a positive team environment.QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse licensure.Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg and Telemetry experience required.PALS certification is mandatory prior to starting.ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.Additional RequirementsAbility to float to different units based on hospital needs.Willingness to be placed on call as necessary.No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment.Ratios and Care StandardsPatient-to-nurse ratio typically is 1:5.Work EnvironmentType of facility: Short Term Acute Care.Total staffed beds: 78.Professional appearance is expected, with any appropriate scrub color allowed.Join our dedicated team and make a meaningful impact on patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.
