Communications (PR) Manager

About the Role This role is a critical part of our journey to build Evotrex as a brand and as a business from the ground up. You will shape how our story is told across media, culture, and community—building credibility, visibility, and long-term brand equity. Location: City of Industry, California What You’ll Do Build and lead a PR strategy that drives organic and paid exposure across but not limited to automotive, lifestyle, EV, RV, outdoor, and travel media. Develop clear brand narratives, messaging, and story angles that resonate with both media and consumers. Own media relations end-to-end, including media discovery, relationship building, pitching, follow-ups, and long-term engagement. Host media, influencers, creators, and owners with confidence—on and off camera. Secure consistent, high-impact coverage across top-tier, trade, and lifestyle outlets. Plan and execute media moments, including launches, events, briefings, demos, and press experiences. Manage press materials such as press releases, media kits, talking points, and executive briefs. Work closely with community, growth, sales, and leadership teams to involve partners, creators, and customers in storytelling. Track coverage, sentiment, and impact, turning results into insights and stronger future strategies. What You Bring 5-10 years of experience in communications, PR, or media relations, ideally in tech, automotive, outdoor, lifestyle, or travel brands. Strong, active network of journalists, editors, producers, and media partners across relevant categories. Proven ability to build and execute PR strategies that drive awareness, credibility, and demand. Deep experience pitching, placing, and managing stories across both earned and paid media. Experience leading product launches, brand announcements, and media events. Strong writing and storytelling skills, from press releases to executive messaging. Confident communicator who can work directly with executives, partners, and media. Highly organized and proactive, able to manage multiple stories, timelines, and stakeholders. Passion for the outdoors, adventure, travel, and exploration. Interest in power, EVs, batteries, solar, and future energy systems.
