Sports Instructor

Sport Instructor The Sport Instructor is a hands-on position that will lead athletes and provides expert instruction in their designated sport. The Sport Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field. Responsibilities: Lead engaging instructional sessions across all sports (soccer, basketball, flag football, etc.), focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and sportsmanship. Demonstrate core concepts and lead drills adaptable to multiple athletic disciplines. Maintain a fun, safe, and organized environment for participants at after-school program locations. Communicate clearly with parents and players regarding schedules and program details. Consistently exhibit a positive attitude, high energy, and outstanding customer service. Qualifications & Requirements: Multi-Sport Versatility: Willingness and confidence to coach and instruct multiple sports. Availability: Must be available starting at 4:30 PM on program days. Location Mobility: Ability to travel to designated session sites, including: Culebra Creek Park, Bonnie Conner Park, Phil Hardberger Park, Classen- Steubing Ranch Park, Bulverde Community Park, Sotomayor High School, Additional surrounding area venues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prior coaching, teaching, or youth leadership experience preferred. Self-motivated, energetic, and reliable for the full duration of the session (~47 weeks). Be sure to opt-in to texting so we can reach out to you!
