Machine Learning Engineer, Data Mining

Salary: $144,000 - 192,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a BS or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a closely related discipline.
• We expect hands-on experience with PyTorch, or alternatively TensorFlow or JAX, including model training and evaluation with standard metrics.
• We need strong Python skills and the ability to produce clean, modular, and well-documented code.
• We look for working knowledge of version control, unit testing, and fundamental software design patterns.
• We require experience handling large datasets, along with proficiency in SQL and libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• We expect a solid understanding of the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, from data preparation and feature engineering through validation and deployment basics.
• We value candidates who learn proactively, respond well to feedback, and want to grow in a demanding engineering environment.
• Nice-to-have qualifications include an MS or PhD in a relevant field, experience with autonomous systems, robotics, multimodal learning, sensor fusion, embodied AI, active learning, contrastive learning, model serving tools, MLOps platforms, or publications in leading conferences such as ICCV, CVPR, or ECCV.

• We develop, train, and refine machine learning pipelines for multimodal sensor data such as vision and LiDAR.
• We implement scalable data preprocessing and augmentation workflows and help apply optimization techniques like batch inference and quantization for production efficiency.
• We build embedding-based search capabilities and active learning processes to surface critical driving scenarios.
• We create and maintain dashboards that track model health, data drift, and system performance, while helping identify regressions and support our data mining services.
• We follow strong software engineering practices, including version control, CI/CD, unit testing, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• We collaborate with senior engineers and fellow ML engineers to turn prototypes into maintainable, scalable solutions.
