Electrical ForemanThe Electrical Foreman will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial facilities in accordance with NEC guidelines. This role oversees journeyman electricians and apprentices, leads multiple crews on larger projects, and ensures that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial facilities in compliance with NEC guidelines.Lead and supervise journeyman electricians and apprentices, providing direction, support, and mentoring.Run jobs from start to finish, coordinating labor, materials, and schedules to meet project deadlines.Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction documents to plan and execute installations.Perform electrical troubleshooting, diagnosing issues in industrial electrical systems and implementing effective repairs.Oversee and participate in conduit bending, pulling wire, and wiring of equipment and systems.Install and maintain switchgear, high-voltage equipment, and other industrial electrical components.Coordinate and perform pipefitting, rigging, and related installation tasks as required for industrial projects.Ensure correct installation of HVAC-related electrical systems where applicable.Verify that all installations, including conduit, wiring, and equipment, meet safety and quality standards.Monitor job site progress, address technical and operational issues, and communicate status to stakeholders.Promote and enforce safe work practices and adherence to all relevant codes and regulations.Travel to various industrial facility projects as needed, up to approximately 50% of the time.Essential SkillsActive Journeyman or Master Electrical License.Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience, preferably in industrial environments.Proven working foreman experience leading multiple crews on larger projects.Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, including installation and maintenance.Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex issues.Experience with conduit installation and bending, pulling wire, and wiring systems.Knowledge and experience with switchgear and high-voltage electrical systems.Understanding of electrical systems in industrial facilities and their operational requirements.Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% for industrial facility projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in industrial electrical work, including construction and installation projects.Experience in pipefitting and rigging in support of electrical installations.Exposure to HVAC-related electrical systems in industrial settings.Strong organizational skills to run jobs and coordinate multiple crews.Ability to interpret and work from detailed construction and electrical documentation.Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on safety, quality, and team development.Why Work Here?Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes double time on Sundays, holiday pay plus double time when working on holidays, and access to Blue Cross Blue Shield health coverage with low premiums for individuals and families.
