Reference: PR/616335_1793045672Title: Senior Project EngineerLocation: Atlanta, GASalary: $100,000-$150,000Position OverviewWe are currently partnered with a leading food & beverage manufacturer seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead capital projects from concept through startup at its Atlanta-area facility. This role is responsible for delivering equipment, processing, packaging, and facility projects on time and within budget while partnering closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and external vendors.The Senior Project Engineer with be responsible for…Lead capital projects from scope development through commissioning and startup.Manage CAPEX projects involving process equipment, packaging lines, utilities, and facility upgrades.Develop project budgets, schedules, specifications, and capital justifications.Coordinate contractors, OEMs, engineering firms, and vendors throughout execution.Drive equipment installation, startup, and operational handoff while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.The Senior Project Engineer should have the following qualifications…Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering.8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with capital project leadership.Proven success managing projects from concept through commissioning/startup.Experience overseeing budgets, schedules, contractors, and equipment installations.Food & beverage manufacturing experience is strongly preferred, including sanitary design and regulated production environments.
