Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Highlights:

• 23-bed Postpartum and Mother-Baby unit with dedicated nursery support
• Patient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1 (estimated)
• Collaborative team of approximately 80 nursing staff members
• Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 9-10 floor RNs, and 2-3 nursery RNs
• EMR system: Meditech and CPN main computer system
• Travel nursing assignment with competitive compensation and benefits

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Postpartum or Mother-Baby experience required
• Current RN license in good standing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Flexibility with scheduling and ability to adapt quickly to new environments preferred

Responsibilities Include:

• Monitoring vital signs and administering medications to postpartum mothers and newborns
• Managing perineal care and postpartum recovery
• Educating parents on newborn care, infant safety, and bonding techniques
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members and providers
• Providing compassionate, patient-centered care to new families
