Job Summary and Responsibilities

Mercy Medical Group (MMG) , a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a full time Board Certified OB Hospitalist Physician to their team. Responsibilities would include covering the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and being available for surgical assist needs. Opportunity Highlights:

• Incoming physicians would be based out of Mercy Hospital of Folsom
• Hospital does approximately 600-700 births/year
• Join a growing program which will consist of 3 dedicated Ob Hospitalists and support from a large pool of clinic based doctors in the program
• 24 hour back-up Ob on-call.
• Full time would be twelve 12 hour shifts/month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts.
• Additional compensation provided for holidays and doing additional shifts.
• Level I nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center
• Shareholder track opportunity

• Employer provided tail insurance.
• Active board certification required.
• Compensation Range: $330,000- $339,000 plus bonuses.

Job Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board-Certified in OB/Gyn (ABMS or AOA)
• Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA certification
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
