Starboard Shop Retail Associate

Job Title

Deliver an exceptional and personalized shopping experience for resort guests and visitors. Assist guests in selecting apparel, accessories, gifts, and specialty merchandise that best fit their needs and preferences. Maintain a welcoming, organized, and visually appealing store environment. Execute visual merchandising standards and maintain product presentation through stocking, folding, replenishment, and display maintenance. Support the management team in achieving sales goals and promoting The Sea Pines Resort brand. Build rapport with guests through professional, knowledgeable, and friendly interactions. Process transactions accurately and efficiently while providing outstanding customer service. Participate in store promotions, seasonal merchandising changes, and special events. Maintain product knowledge to effectively communicate features, benefits, and brand offerings to guests.

Excellent customer service and communication skills. Prior retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred. Friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment. Team-oriented, dependable, and eager to contribute to a positive and engaging workplace. Ability to build relationships with guests and provide personalized recommendations.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and light lifting (up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs). Requires clear communication, visual focus, and use of hands for handling merchandise and maintaining displays. Ability to move, organize, and replenish products throughout the store.
