Job Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant (PA)

Pay Rate: Starting $135,000

Description: Coastal Medical Staffing is currently partnering with a well-established and growing specialty practice to identify an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a background in orthopedic and/or interventional pain management.

Our client is a respected spine and joint practice known for combining modern treatment approaches with a personalized, hands-on patient experience. Their team is focused on helping patients regain function, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life through comprehensive and innovative care plans.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (4-day workweek option available)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient evaluations, including history, physical exams, and chart review
• Order, interpret, and assess diagnostic testing (e.g., imaging, labs)
• Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic pain conditions
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care plans
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative care
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in pain management and musculoskeletal care

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license (Georgia)
• Prior experience in orthopedic, spine, pain management, or related setting preferred
• Strong understanding of acute and chronic care practices
• Excellent communication and patient-facing skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a high level of professionalism and empathy
• Commitment to continued clinical learning and development

Clinical Experience / Skills Preferred

• Knowledge of musculoskeletal and spinal conditions (e.g., herniated discs, radiculopathy, facet-related pain)
• Experience with injections (joint, trigger point, etc.)
• Familiarity with regenerative medicine, PRP, and/or IV therapy is highly valued
• Comfort reviewing imaging (MRI, X-ray) with patients
• Experience working alongside integrative or alternative care providers is a plus
