We provide a 151-bed hospital, emergency department, and medical offices with centers of excellence in specialty care. The job involves delivering coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. You will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordination of care with other disciplines is essential while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. You will collect relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzing the assessment data is crucial in determining diagnosis and care issues. You will develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implementing the plan, coordinating care delivery, and employing strategies to promote health and a safe environment is required. Evaluating progress toward attaining outcomes is part of the role. Identifying outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation is necessary. Collaboration with the team, patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing patient care is essential. You will provide learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Direct provision of health information to patients, families, and treatment teams is required. Participation in discharge planning is important to provide continuity of care. You will delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
