Hospital Pharmacy Manager

Overview Department: Inpatient Pharmacy Shift: Full Time Facility: Olympia Fields Hospital Location: Olympia Fields, IL Responsibilities The Manager of Pharmacy in conjunction with the Director of Pharmacy is responsible for coordination and control of the Pharmacy Service throughout the hospital; maintenance of policies and procedures that assure safe administration, control, storage and use of medications; serves as PIC or acting PIC in the absence of the Director; responsible for management of pharmacy staff; financial decisions including inventory control and budgeting; interactions with physicians and other departments concerning quality of care and education; ensuring that all licensing criteria are met; attending administrative meetings related to regulatory affairs; implementing or changing operations based on State and Federal regulations; and performing other functions concerning patient care and operations of the Pharmacy consistent with hospital policies and laws. Qualifications Current state Registered Pharmacy License. At least 5 years Hospital Pharmacy experience with 2 years administrative experience. Master’s Degree in Pharmacy or related field preferred. The compensation estimate for this role is $131,310.40 to $190,174.40 on an annualized basis.
