About This Role

This role requires a degree in Early Childhood Education or course work toward a degree in Early Childhood Education. The Global Child Norwich is NAEYC accredited and must meet their requirements. Our head toddler teachers lead our classrooms with children ages 12 months to 3 years. Requirements include designing lessons and activities that met each child's needs and that are aligned with the Connecticut's Early Learning and Development Standards. Candidates will also need to have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment with other teachers and staff members.

What You'll Do

• Teach and care for children ages 12 months to 3 years
• Implement curriculum and lessons to support young children's cognitive and social development
• Work effectively with other staff members
• Communicate regularly with families

Requirements

• Degree and/ or coursework in ECE
• Positive, friendly and energetic personality and attitude
• Good communication and collaborative skills
• Growth mindset and an ability to take direction
