We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team at Taylor Correctional Institution located in Perry, Florida.The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing administrative duties and supporting program and staff needs by fulfilling routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, creating spreadsheets, and providing information to callers for designated behavioral health units. This professional works extensively with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-430pmHigh school diploma or GED equivalent requiredMinimum of one (1) year of secretarial or office experience requiredMust have experience with medical terminologyGood communication and organizational skills, professional phone etiquette and accurate typing skillsDemonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office requiredWorking knowledge of spreadsheets and database programs preferredMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check #J-18808-Ljbffr Centurion Health
