Licensed Counselor

Job Summary: We are seeking a LCSW/LPC/QMHP/Licensed Therapist to join our team working hybrid in a remote and correctional institution settings. The ideal candidate will have a background in behavioral health and possess strong skills in motivational interviewing, psychotherapy, and clinic operations. The position requires 4 on site in Warrenton each week. Very flexible on day and time those 4 hours are completed. Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients Work with patients in person and remotely as needed. Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients Implement specialized care for individuals with PTSD and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques Support individuals with special education needs in a clinical setting Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of psychotropic medications, including familiarity with commonly prescribed treatments in correctional settings such as antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and antidepressants; ability to recognize appropriate medication use and monitor for side effects in incarcerated populations. Proficient in applying DSM-5 diagnostic criteria to assess and identify mental health disorders, with a strong understanding of symptomatology across mood, anxiety, psychotic, and personality disorders to support accurate clinical evaluations and treatment planning.
