Position Overview As a School RN at TheraCare, you will provide direct nursing care to students during the school day in a variety of educational settings. Key Responsibilities: •Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders.

• Oversee the school health office including triage, injury response, and wellness checks.
• Monitor student health conditions and respond to emergency situations.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and agency supervisors regarding student care.
• Maintain accurate and timely health records in compliance with NYC DOE and NYS DOH guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to all public health protocols and nursing standards.

Qualifications: •Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• At least 2 years of nursing experience in pediatrics, public health, or school-based roles.
• CPR/BLS certification (required).
• Familiarity with patient electronic database systems and documentation standards.
• Strong organizational, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements: •Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, smart phone, computer).

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
