Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney – Litigation Associate Location: Cranford, NJ (Hybrid Flexibility) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: DOE + Full Benefits About the Opportunity A well-established litigation firm in New Jersey is seeking a talented Insurance Defense Attorney to join its growing practice. The firm represents major insurance carriers, corporations, and self-insured entities in complex civil litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a solid background in defense litigation who is looking for long-term professional growth. Key Responsibilities Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters , including personal injury, premises liability, property damage, and general liability claims Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation Represent clients at court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations Collaborate with clients, claims adjusters, and internal teams to build effective case strategies Maintain accurate reporting and documentation throughout all phases of litigation Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school 4+ years of Civil litigation / Insurance Defense experience Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage multiple cases independently Experience with litigation/case management software preferred What’s Offered Competitive salary based on experience Annual & Quarterly Performance-Based Bonuses Collaborative team environment Hybrid work flexibility If you are a motivated litigation attorney with a strong foundation in insurance defense, we want to hear from you.
