Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Shipping and Receiving Supervisor is responsible for the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments, creating shipping documents, labeling shipments, maintaining records in NetSuite/ OpenDock and utilizing various other tech driven efficiencies. Overview Responsibilities Receiving Goods: Check incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy. Document any discrepancies on the BOL. Document damaged material and report to Quality Control. Shipping Orders: Generate picking and packing documents according to customer specifications. Generate shipping labels for ASN’S and apply to pallets. Fulfill orders in NetSuite. Check drivers in (validate pick up number) and assign trucks to docks via Yard Management application. Utilize tech automation to drive efficiencies with truck flow. MUST be very proficient with technology. Other Duties: Utilizing technology will be a core function in this role. Communicate with internal departments regarding shipping or receiving statuses. Skills and Qualifications 3-5+ years of Supervisor experience in Shipping/Receiving. Strong computer proficiencies and experience with different tech interfaces. Shows great willingness to adapt to new rollouts & changes. Great communication and organizational skills. Shows great ability to work in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
