Geriatric Psychiatrist Opportunity

Make a Difference in Senior Behavioral Health

We are recruiting a Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a 140-bed behavioral health hospital located in Valdosta, Georgia. The hospital offers comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care along with Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions affecting older adults
Provide inpatient psychiatric services
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Develop individualized treatment plans
Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care

Qualifications

MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Fellowship training or significant experience in Geriatric Psychiatry preferred
Eligible for Georgia medical licensure
