This position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting on-time delivery requirements through efficient assembly operations. The role focuses on performing assembly and non-CNC operations according to standard work procedures, manufacturing instructions, and quality plans within the production cell. Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly operations such as ball nut assembly following standard work documentation and quality plans.
- Operate hand tools and equipment including debur tools, engraver, saws, straightener, buffer, and overhead hoist.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain daily communication with team members and other facilities to support workflow.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and 5S standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Ability to read and interpret prints, manufacturing instructions (MI's), and quality plans (QP's).
- Experience using inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, and percentages.
- Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to a variety of work situations.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and repetitive movement.
