Registered Dental Assistant- flex position

Responsibilities: Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, and preventive care Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist Educate and guide patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene practices Record patient treatment information and update dental charts accurately in practice management software Support front office and clinical team as needed in a flex capacity across scheduling and patient flow Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed Cover front office as needed, schedule appointments Requirements: Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license or certification in the state of Texas Current Dental Radiography certification required CPR/BLS certification preferred Previous chairside dental assisting experience strongly preferred Familiarity with dental practice management software (Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar) Flexible availability and willingness to adapt to varying schedules and office needs Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first, compassionate attitude About Us: Compass Dental is a trusted dental care provider in the Fort Worth, TX community, committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered dentistry in a welcoming environment.
