System Administrator

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support day-to-day IT operations for a 6-month contract engagement in Blair, Nebraska. This role is ideal for someone with strong Windows support experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment handling end-user support, system administration, and hardware troubleshooting. The selected candidate will provide technical support through a ticketing system, troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues, and resolve hardware and software problems while ensuring a high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities Provide Windows-based IT support for end users. Manage and resolve support requests through a ticketing system, including ticket triage and prioritization. Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications, user accounts, and related issues. Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and devices that have gone offline. Perform basic system administration and endpoint support. Escalate complex issues when appropriate and document resolutions. Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, and solutions. Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure timely issue resolution. Required Qualifications Experience supporting Windows operating systems in an enterprise environment. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and end-user support. Experience working with IT ticketing systems, including ticket triage and incident management. Strong troubleshooting skills for physical hardware and endpoint devices. Knowledge of desktop support best practices and general IT infrastructure. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced support environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a help desk or systems administration role. Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management. Experience supporting enterprise hardware, printers, and peripheral devices. Work Schedule Hybrid schedule with 2 days onsite per week in Blair, Nebraska. 6-month contract with potential for extension based on business needs.
