General Summary Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices. Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs). Education/Experience Required Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Two years of related clinical nursing experience in the area of interest and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required. Willingness to float to multiple locations. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Certifications/Licenses Required Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Current BLS. ACLS, NRP, and EFM where required. TB, vaccines (i.e. flu).
