Job Number R0243698 – AWS Full Stack Engineer Responsibilities This role is more than just coding. As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have 5+ years of experience with UI and UX, including a front-end framework such as React or Vue 5+ years of experience with back-end development, including back-end languages such as Java, Python, Go, SQL, or C++, and front-end languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS 5+ years of experience with enterprise application development 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS, and container orchestration Experience developing and deploying production applications from concept to Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have 3+ years of experience with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS, and container orchestration 3+ years of experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation Experience with database administration and optimization, including MongoDB Experience with serverless architecture such as API Gateway Experience leading technical initiatives in large‑scale environments Experience with system design, focusing on scalability and reliability Experience developing Geospatial UIs, implementing DevOps mechanisms for projects, and designing and implementing UI for artificial intelligence or machine learning applications TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer Certifications IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certifications Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD) based on location, education, skills, and experience. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible for Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.
