Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of routine and advanced laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for reliability, address any discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Document all laboratory processes meticulously, guide new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while following all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout the duration of employment.
