Details Miller 4 unit (PCU/Telemetry) at a large academic teaching facility Cardiology-focused patient population including post-cath, STEMI, and structural heart patients 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights), Monday through Sunday Every other weekend required Floating required to M/S or other Progressive Care Areas within the Central Pool PCU; travelers float first Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years is required 16-week assignment Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays Requirements Active VT or Compact RN license required; NY candidates will be considered with proof of a pending NY license Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Prior experience in a large, academic teaching facility required Cardiology experience including post-cath, STEMI, and structural heart patients required Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable Prior travel nursing experience preferred Two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor required — at least one from within the past 6 months and one from within the past year SSN and DOB required for consideration Reliable personal transportation is strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible in this area; vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April Additional Information Provide intermediate progressive care nursing to cardiology patients, including post-cath, STEMI, and structural heart cases Must be flexible with scheduling; block schedules are not permitted This is an interview-to-offer (IVS) position This facility is strict about submission completeness; all work history must include bed count, EMR, and facility type, with all employment gaps over 30 days explained Candidates with a NY license showing proof of pending status will be considered American Traveler Job ID #P-688565.
