Vice President, Client Relationship Lead

The primary focus of this Client Relationship Lead role is to generate new business through your existing network and expand our Healthcare practice client base and revenue. This is a growth-driving role, not an execution-only position . Candidates must bring a strong, active network of decision-makers at healthcare manufacturers (pharma, biotech, medical device, consumer health) and a demonstrated ability to convert these relationships into new revenue . In this role, you will Proactively identify and activate opportunities within your network to open new logos for The Directions Group. Develop and execute account growth plans that move contacts from conversation to qualified opportunity to closed business. Lead capabilities discussions and solution design in partnership with Directions' Healthcare Practice Lead. Serve as the senior strategic partner for the clients you originate, accountable for relationship depth, successful engagements, revenue growth, and retention. Success will be defined by your ability to bring in new business and build a sustainable portfolio of accounts you originate and grow . You will thrive in this role if you have A passion for originating and closing new business from prospects with whom you have consultative relationships and professional equity. A strong, relevant network within healthcare (pharma, biotech, medical device, eye care) that you can actively leverage to generate opportunities. The ability to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets through your own business development activity. Strong commercial and consultative skills: leading senior conversations, uncovering business needs, and shaping winning intelligence solutions. Proven strength from brief through delivery in solution design, proposal development, pricing, and leading engagements. Fluency in core research methods and emerging AI-enabled approaches, and the judgment to apply them effectively in client contexts. 10+ years of experience in a commercial, client-facing role within healthcare insights, consulting, or related fields, with clear accountability for revenue generation and management.
