Applications will be accepted from preference eligibles and veterans who are honorably discharged from the Armed Forces after completing at least 3 years of continuous active-duty service.E-Band: Provides administrative support to supervisors, managers, and other employees in managing the office's administrative functions, which may include several of the following areas: fiscal management, travel, management information systems, contract administration, property management, procurements, and overall office management.Performs basic and routine tasks in support of a professional, technical, or specialized occupation under the general direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced employee. Provides support to supervisors, managers, and other employees in managing the office's administrative functions, which may include several of the following areas: fiscal management, travel, management information systems, contract administration, property management, procurements, and overall office management.F-Band: Incumbent performs the same at E band, to include a combination of routine and multiple and varying assignments in support of a professional, technical, or specialized occupation under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced employee. Assists managers and other employees in day-to-day operations and may act as a lead for other support staff to coordinate multiple assignments. Provides guidance to lower-level support staff members for handling routine problems and issues.US Citizenship is required. Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959. Security Clearance.To qualify for this position at the FV-E level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-D, FG/GS-3-6 level. Examples of specialized experience include Experience in the performance basic and routine tasks in support of administrative program; utilizing automated systems to maintain data; and supporting the office in scheduling meetings; typing correspondence; providing standard information on administrative policies, personal property and travel administration.To qualify for this position at the FV-F level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-E, FG/GS-7/8 level.
