This role is responsible for troubleshooting issues, making equipment/program changes as needed, and performing preventive and repair maintenance on assigned automated equipment.Shift / Schedule:2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AMResponsibilities:Support daily production operations of all automated cellsTroubleshoot and repair automated equipment as neededMake equipment and program modifications as requested by operationsPerform preventive maintenance on automated equipmentSupport daily problem-solving efforts with operationsDevelop and support improvement projects based on production issuesMaintain dotted-line communication/responsibility to the line supervisorWork on other assigned projects as neededRequirements:2–3 years of robotic technician experienceExperience using multiple hand toolsExperience building, maintaining, testing, and repairing roboticsBackground in hardware, electronics, and circuitryComfortable working in a warehouse environmentComfortable working with individuals at all organizational levelsAbility to handle multiple tasksAbility to work independentlyStrong attention to detailPreferred Experience/Skills:Robotic programming experienceTechnical certification or technical degree preferredPhysical / Environmental Conditions:Daily exposure to shop conditions, which are variable depending on the task assigned, but are generally dirty. Is subject to shop noise. Involves extensive standing, bending, kneeling, climbing and walking. Skin and eyes are subject to drying and irritating fumes, vapors and solutions controlled to OSHA standards.
