Job Description:

Responsibilities and duties:

• Design and implement scalable and efficient data storage solutions using Snowflake.

• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries within the Snowflake environment.

• Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools.

• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data-driven business objectives.

Skills and qualifications:

• 7-8 years of experience in MS SQL server / database technology and at least 5 years of experience in the Snowflake platform.

• Proficient in SQL and familiar with ETL processes.

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake features like Snowpipe, Dynamic tables, Data Masking, External Tables, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, etc.

• Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions.

• Experience in performance tuning, optimizing large complicated SQL statements, and cost optimization in the Snowflake platform.

• Proficient in handling semi-structured data in Snowflake.

• Experience in SSIS package development.

• Experience with data modeling, data migration, and cloud computing environments [Azure].

• Proficient understanding of ADO, GIT.

• Understanding of data compliance and security best practices.

• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

• Experience in Snowpark, Python, and ML programming is a plus.

• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

• Team player.
