Clinic Office AssistantLange-Fuhs Cancer Center in Jasper, Indiana is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Clinic Office Assistant (RN, LPN or CMA) to work alongside our Nurse Practitioner in a busy Oncology/Hematology clinic. This role provides direct patient care, coordinates treatment, collaborates with other staff and departments, and supports the patients while under the care of the nurse practitioner. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, patient-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This person would assist with triaging patients, obtain vital signs, reconcile medication lists, assist with symptom management, and provide patient education as directed by the nurse practitioner.Education and Experience:Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required.Experience preferred but not required.Certificates/Licenses:Current certification/license from one of the below:Certified Medical Assistant- American Association of Medical AssistantsCPR provider certification required.Shift: Days - Monday-Friday; 40 hours; No weekends or holidaysHours: 32 per weekPay Scales:CMA/RMA: $19.14 to $26.79Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
