Description Hoboken Grace Community Church is looking for a part-time graphic design intern for our Communications Department. The individual will work directly with our Communications Director and staff team to ensure all day-to-day design needs of the Communications team are planned and executed. This position is ideal for anyone who is pursuing a career in graphic design, communications, or marketing – and is looking to gain valuable hands-on experience. The candidate must be able to work on-site in Hoboken, NJ and must be eligible to work in the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS

Have an introductory knowledge of industry-standard design software Highly organized with strong attention to detail Detail and task-oriented Ability to multitask and balance multiple projects at once Ability to understand the organization’s unique voice Have an introductory knowledge of in the formal elements of design, including but not limited to, typography, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, emphasis and color

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design eye-catching graphics for various marketing materials, including social media, promotional banners, and/or email campaigns Assist in maintaining the visual brand identity across all design materials Collaborate with different departments to maintain consistency in branding Create graphics for online platforms, including emails, apps and social media

SCHEDULE

May 26 - August 13, 2026 15 - 20 hours per week depending on candidate
