Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist(OT) with pediatric experience to join a reputable school district inCarlsbad, NM. Thisisan excellent opportunity to expand your occupational therapyexpertisewhile supporting students with diverse physical anddevelopmentalneeds. In this role, you will provide therapy andrehabilitationservices that empower students to participate morefully inschool-based tasks when their abilities are impacted byhealthconditions. You'll work closely with the IEP team to developandimplement individualized treatment plans using therapeuticinterventions that promote functional independence in theclassroom.



Responsibilities
•Conduct assessments to determine student functional needs andsetdevelopmentally appropriate goals
•Reassess progress regularly and adjust therapy plans to optimizeoutcomes
•Document evaluations, goals, and treatment plans in accordancewith school standards
•Select and utilize materials and equipment safely andefficientlyto support therapy goals
•Perform all responsibilities with professionalism, care, and astudent-centered mindset

Requirements
• New Mexico Occupational Therapy (OT) License
• New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) License.
•Current BLS/CPR certification
•At least 6 months of relevant OT experience within the past 5years
