Join Our Team as a Medical Director in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation to take on the role of Medical Director for our CARF-accredited 39-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. This position offers a remarkable chance to lead within a collaborative and high-quality rehabilitation program.
Position Highlights- Full-time Medical Director
- Guaranteed salary for 2 years: $307,613
- Additional compensation for directorship and supervision: $150,000
- Recruitment incentive: Up to $15,000
- Relocation assistance: Available
- Time Off: 4 weeks of PTO, 6 holidays, and 1 week for CME
- CME allowance: $6,000
- Comprehensive benefits package: Includes malpractice coverage
- Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
- Oversee a 39-bed CARF-accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Conduct daily rounds with therapists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nursing staff
- Ensure clinical quality and monitor patient outcomes
- Collaborate closely with the hospitalist team
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Must be eligible for an Iowa medical license
- Possess state and federal prescriptive authority
- H-1B cap-exempt candidates are encouraged to apply
