CDL Truck Driver

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled CDL Truck Driver to operate semi-trucks and flatbed trucks, transporting steel, lumber, and general freight over local and long-haul routes. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining vehicle integrity. Responsibilities Operate semi-trucks and flatbed trucks safely and efficiently Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries Comply with all safety regulations and company policies Load and unload materials efficiently using knowledge of securement and tarp procedures. Secure loads properly to prevent shifting during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience in commercial truck driving Flatbed experience Valid CDL Proficient in vehicle inspection and maintenance procedures Ability to plan routes effectively and manage time Strong understanding of safety compliance standards Excellent communication and customer service skills
