North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.Opportunity Details:Performing history and physical examinationsOrdering diagnostic tests based on assessmentsDeveloping treatment plansPrescribing drugs and other therapiesMaking referrals as necessaryDocumenting findings in the electronic medical recordConsulting with supervising medical provider when appropriateCounseling patients and families regarding careReviewing and responding to referrals from within and outside the clinicPhysician Assistant certification/license issued by the NCCPACurrent NYS registration as a Physician AssistantMust be ACLS/BLS certifiedWages and Benefits include:Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836* based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
