Staff Product Manager

Driving the success of major product initiatives, the full-time remote Staff Product Manager will manage the Kafka Connect team, focusing on enterprise-grade integrations and leveraging AI/ML capabilities while collaborating with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams. Key responsibilities Oversee the development and growth strategy of the Confluent Connect's Enterprise feature portfolio Act as a trusted resource for the product, ensuring cross-functional teams have the necessary support for effective trade-offs and product development Engage with customers to craft product strategies and roadmaps that address their needs and enhance user experience Required qualifications 8+ years of experience as a software product manager, preferably with enterprise technical products Strong technical competency in distributed data systems, public and private clouds, and stream processing Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively Experience with enterprise software features such as security, networking, and observability is a plus Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field; MBA is a strong plus
