OverviewJoin a team of passionate and caring people who make a difference in people's lives. We are now hiring for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide direct care to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This will be performed in a home-like setting.
External Job DescriptionAll Ways Caring HomeCare is looking for someone like you to join our team! As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in heling us provide compassionate care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.
- Performing personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks
- Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their circle of support.
- Encouraging self-help activities
- Implements Individual Service Plan and Behavior Support Plans
- Manage Individual's behaviors by prevention or de-escalation of aggression.
- Keeps accurate daily documentation of activities, fire/ disaster drills, Behavior Support Plans, medications, goal and data tracking, as well as other documentation.
- Transport individuals to and from community activities and medical appointments.
- Transporting clients or running errands for clients
- Other duties as assigned.
- Eighteen years of age or older
- Pass background check
- Driver's license
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid Auto Insurance
