Testing and Automation Engineer

Salary: $102,700 - 128,400 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for 3-6 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• We need hands-on experience with software testing and test automation practices.
• We require proficiency with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman, or similar.
• We require direct experience with performance engineering tools such as JMeter, Gatling, k6, Locust, or equivalent.
• We require experience using AI-assisted testing tools and practices.
• We need the ability to read, write, or troubleshoot basic test code or scripts in Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar.
• We expect an understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• We value familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing concepts.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent practical experience may be considered.

• We design, build, and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and backend services, covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios across applications and platforms.
• We partner with Software Engineers and Product teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria, and we take part in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
• We maintain and improve our test automation frameworks and tooling, and we integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• We identify, document, and track defects through resolution, perform basic root-cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering teams on fixes.
• We design and run performance, load, and stress tests across applications and services using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust.
• We use AI-assisted tools for test case generation, test data creation, and coverage analysis, and we apply AI-powered testing solutions to improve defect detection and automation efficiency.
