Job Opportunity: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Our organization is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. This position is based on-site and plays a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement tailored treatment plans for residents.
- Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) retraining, mobility, and functional tasks.
- Document resident progress accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Work collaboratively with nursing and therapy teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families.
- Promote safety and encourage independence among residents.
- Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with EMR systems is preferred.
This role involves direct interaction with residents in a healthcare setting, requiring a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
