- Performs detailed CAD design for space hardware and ground support equipment
- Generates fabrication and assembly drawings, including tolerancing

- 10+ years of professional experience with 3D Solid Modeling Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
- Applied math skills and ability to use analytical formulas
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 10+ years of experience with NX CAD software using Teamcenter PLM
- Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and system level tolerance analysis
- Experience designing space structures, optical elements, bonded structures, or composite structures for cryogenic/vacuum environments
- Experience with cable harness routing
- Knowledge of manufacturing processing, fixturing, and tooling
- Familiarity with surface treatments and finishes
- Experience with part inspection

- Salary commensurate on education and relevant experience
